It appears that you’re saying what I’ve been thinking since we migrated to SQL Server 2022 from 2016…
“SQL Server 2022… It just runs SLOWER”. 🙁
What’s killing me here is that the same problems appeared in 2019 and they’ve not fixed them in 2022. This is not “going in the right direction”. 🙁

Well, it’s a bit difficult to get meaningful feedback using AdventureWorks.
